What is

Art Harmony Melboure?

The Art Harmony in Melbourne Project  is a vital initiative among 13 projects aimed at supporting the wellbeing of international students living in Victoria, as part of the State Government’s Study Melbourne Inclusion Program. This unique program is designed to aid international students in forging stronger connections within the Victorian community, emphasising mental health, resilience, community engagement, and cultural competency.

Cross Culture Seminar

Bridging Eastern and Western Traditions through Art

Join us for an enriching seminar and workshop where we explore the diverse artistic traditions from East to West, spanning Asian cultures to Australian Aboriginal heritage. In this interactive session, educators will guide participants in analysing artworks from these distinct cultural backgrounds. Through hands-on art activities, participants will create their own works inspired by unique techniques and cultural narratives, deepening their understanding of cross-cultural connections.

Pharaoh Exhibition 2024

Explore over three thousand years of ancient Egyptian art and culture with an introduction to Pharaoh. In an interactive introductory talk with NGV Educators, students will analyse selected works from the exhibition and gain insight into the phenomenon of pharaoh and the complexity of kingship.

This is not just a tour, but an interactive experience. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussions, ask questions, and perhaps even gain hands-on experience in certain aspects of art-making, depending on the current exhibitions and available workshops.
